Bonfire & BBQ – Saturday 2nd November 

 

• We need help Friday afternoon 1st November & 10.30ish Saturday 2nd November to build the bonfire, there is a huge amount of wood to dispose of so please come and give a hand if only for an hour.  
• Help setting things (tables/chairs/etc) up on the Saturday would also be appreciated.
• The bonfire/bbq will start at about 5pm on Saturday, contributions towards fireworks would be appreciated.  Please don’t bring your own (except sparklers) for obvious reasons.
• Friends & family welcome the more the merrier
• Bring along something nice to eat & drink – we do have separate vegetarian cooking facilities.

• Those who have not yet paid please pay before 31st October, payment after that date may incur a £5 surcharge.
• Payment can be taken Saturday & Sunday mornings 11am – 1pm  for alternative arrangements or payment on-line email for details please contact me.

Kings Seeds

All,

The new catalogue for Kings seeds is available now from the shop. As in previous years, this offers an excellent range of seeds including veg, salads and flowers at very reasonable prices.

There are a couple of changes to how we will manage this for the site, so please note the following:

• Only seeds will be ordered no fruit, potatoes, onion sets or sundries.
• All potatoes and onions will be offered through a different supplier, more details later.
• All orders must be accompanied with payment and be with me by 31st October.

Order forms are also available in the shop, on these you need to list the seed code, page number, quantity and price. At the end of the form please total up the value of your order and take off a discount of 20%, this will leave the total amount you have to pay. Please also put your name and plot number on the form.

Potatoes and onion sets will be offered from a local supplier through the shop. I will have details in October of the varieties and prices available. There will be around 50 types of potato seeds and a number of onion varieties. These will be available in any quantity that suites you, including weight or number of seeds. The order for these will be completed by January, and delivered sometime later that month.
